As a Senior Project Manager at Loop Horizon, you will be leading across a range of engagements to deliver a mix of consultancy services and Martech capability implementation. You’ll be working closely with our internal Marketing Consultancy, Digital Analytics and Technical Capability teams to shape and scope out what’s needed and deliver the best outcomes for our clients with a particular focus on supporting the Technical workstreams and teams within client engagements.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, your responsibilities will include:
Working with the client and internal teams to scope out delivery, ensuring that projects are initiated successfully and that all parties are clear on scope and success criteria
Successful delivery of project outcomes via:
- Delivery Planning and Orchestration: Build, track and own project plans, identifying key milestone, roles and responsibilities and monitoring progress versus plan; ensure effective forums are in place across the delivery teams to monitor progress and identify issues (e.g. daily stand ups)
- Financial Management: Manage budget, forecasts and resource burndown activities; ensure all activities are completed within the forecast resource budget
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure clear and effective communications plans and strategies are in place to ensure timely status updates and on progress; issues and risks
- Risk Management: Manage any actions, risks, issues and dependencies; using creativity and initiative to resolve and escalating as needed
- Governance: Establish effective project governance, ensuring that effective decision-making processes are in place to adequately steer engagements to successful outcomes
- Team Support: Support the wider team to deliver their work and ensure any obstacles are removed on a timely basis
- Quality Management: Work with the relevant teams to ensure that robust quality management processes are in place and documented to plan, test and control technical implementation of capability and any defects are tracked and managed effectively
- Change Management: Work with internal and client teams to ensure that changes delivered are embedded effectively into the organisation ensuring for example that training; documentation; process changes are all considered as part of the overall readiness plan
- Benefits Tracking: Agree and maintain a robust means of tracking the defined benefits as part of the project delivery
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure that learnings or improvements identified through the course of delivery are captured and the full project team gets the opportunity to share their learnings.
Internal development of the delivery function: contribute learnings and best practice to aid the overall aims and act as a coach and role model to other members of the team
Experience and Attributes Required:
- 5+ years project/programme management/transformation experience ideally delivering implementations at scale
- Experience of working across different delivery methodologies including waterfall and agile, with relevant qualifications desirable (AgilePM, PMI)
- Experience of working with Martech stacks (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, CDPs etc)
- Experience delivering technical, data led projects with experience of working with cloud technology desirable
- Experience of working in a consulting environment (desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and programmes simultaneously
- Strong problem solving skills with a can-do attitude
- Ability to translate ambiguity into a structured and agreed approach and plan
- Strong analytics skills with an understanding of data and martech
