About the position

In line with Loop Horizon’s growth and increased client demand for experienced marketing support, Loop are looking to hire Consultants to join the team.

Job Overview

As a Customer Value Consultant at Loop Horizon, you will be an expert at increasing customer value for our clients using cross-channel marketing – by applying your knowledge of personalisation techniques, test and learn, and customer-centric CRM and CVM strategies.

You will be working across a range of client engagements to deliver consultancy services.

This Consultant role brings together targeted (direct) marketing expertise, commercial acumen, and data expertise, within a collaborative client-facing role. The role requires application of all component parts of successful CRM/CVM, including but not limited to:

  • Strategy development to increase customer lifetime value
  • Driving relevance using 1st party data – including use of segmentation and modelling techniques
  • Value and measurement frameworks
  • Test & Learn

This role will be within the Customer Value function of our Marketing Services department, as part of a wider team of consultants. The role is flexible but 2-3 days a week in the office is preferable.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support clients with CRM/CVM strategy development and activation
  • Explore the Client’s situation, needs and existing capability
  • Based on discovery learnings, devise the optimum strategy in line with the client’s goals
  • Support clients particularly on:
  1. CRM and Customer Value strategy
  2. Customer lifecycle journey development
  3. Cross-channel campaign design – email, DM, push, digital, web, contact centre
  4. How to best utilise customer analysis, segmentation and modelling to improve results
  5. Success measurement and testing frameworks
  • Proactively build relationships with clients, both lead stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Work openly and collaboratively with client teams and agencies to deliver successful activation
  • Deliver multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Create client facing documentation and presentations for clients and senior stakeholders throughout the engagements


Education level

-        Bachelor Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business function

Experience / skills


  • 3 years+ Marketing role experience
  • CRM journey development and delivery
  • Experience in adopting and applying customer data analysis and segmentation to optimise CRM/CVM outcomes
  • Test and learn management and delivery – with a focus on proving impact on customer value
  • Strong understanding and experience of Customer data and activation across multiple channels and lifecycle stages
  • Strong understanding of CRM/CVM activity measurement approaches
  • Proven ownership of projects and stakeholder management
